Request for Applications (2025-2026)

The call for applications opens March 7, 2025.
The grant includes Pilot & Feasibility Grants. The purpose of this RFA is to support P&F projects for independent investigators. These applications can be an extension of prior funded C3 Research projects or new proposals from any eligible OSU or NCH investigator.

Up to $100,000 can be awarded.

- Translational P&F Projects
No indirect costs will be provided.

Trainee Award Program

Request for Applications (2025-2026)

The call for applications opens February 21, 2025.
The grant includes two trainee fellowships. The purpose of this RFA is to support highly meritorious trainee projects. These applications can be an extension of prior funded C3 Research projects or new proposals from any eligible OSU or NCH trainee.

Up to $29,500 can be awarded to the pre-doctoral trainee.
- $25,000 will be used for partial stipend support from C3RDP.
- $4,500 will be used for supplies, core services, animal costs, and travel and registration for the North American CF Conference (NACFC).
Up to $70,500 can be awarded to the post-doctoral trainee.
- $66,000 will be used for partial stipend support from C3RDP/NCH.
- $4,500 will be used for supplies, core services, animal costs, and travel and registration for the North American CF Conference (NACFC).
For trainees with prior C3 support, a second year of funding is contingent on demonstration of satisfactory progress and approval by the C3 Research Internal and External Advisory Boards. A separate budget and justification will be required at this stage.
No indirect costs will be provided.
