CURE CF COLUMBUS

Research & Development Program
Cure CF Columbus (C3) supports and promotes groundbreaking research and clinical cystic fibrosis-related activities with individuals located at The Ohio State University and Nationwide Children's Hospital, and subsequently applies this knowledge for the development of new therapeutic strategies to better arm host defenses that combat infection.
What is Cystic Fibrosis?

The CF Foundation is now accepting applications for the Biological Basis for Cystic Fibrosis Related Diabetes (CFRD) RFA.
This RFA was developed to begin addressing some of the research gaps/needs identified during the 2021 CFF/NIDDK CF-Related Diabetes Sceintific Workshop. The primary goal of this funding opportunity is to support projects that will improve our understanding of the biological underpinnings of the development and progression of CFRS, and/or serve to identify potential novel therapeutic strategies to manage and treat the disease.
Applicants may request up to $150,000 per year (plus 12% indirect costs) for up to 3 years to complete the proposed projects. The deadline to apply for the 2022 cycle is August 2, 2022.
